Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our non-emergency medical transportation services. We are dedicated to providing clear information to ensure your comfort and peace of mind.
What is Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)?
Non-emergency medical transport (NEMT) is planned transportation for people who need help getting to and from medical appointments but do not need an ambulance. CareBridge will focus on safe, on-time rides with trained drivers who assist patients to and from the vehicle.
How far in advance should I book my ride?
Because we are not transporting patients yet, you cannot book rides at this time. Once services begin, we will recommend requesting rides at least 24–48 hours in advance whenever possible.
What geographical areas do you serve?
We plan to serve Mansfield, Venus, Arlington, Midlothian, Grand Prairie, Bedford, Irving, Dallas, Fort Worth, Burleson, and North Richland Hills when services begin.
Are your drivers trained for medical transport?
Yes. Our plan is to use trained drivers who understand patient safety, basic assistance, and respectful communication so riders feel safe and supported during each trip.
Do you provide wheelchair-accessible vehicles?
Yes. Our planned fleet includes wheelchair-accessible vehicles so patients who use wheelchairs can travel safely and comfortably once services begin.
